Created November 2, 2026
This site is an independent guide to the Civil Service Commission (CSC) online application process in the Philippines. It is not the Civil Service Commission, it is not run by the CSC, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the CSC or any CSC Regional or Field Office.
Official sources
The only official channels for the Career Service Examination are the CSC website at csc.gov.ph, the OCSEAS portal at ocseas.csc.gov.ph, and CSC eServe at services.csc.gov.ph. Applications are accepted only through those channels and the Lingkod Bayani Kiosk for Caraga. If any other site, page, or person claims to accept CSC applications or payments, treat that claim with suspicion.
Accuracy
The facts here, including the March 14, 2027 exam date, the 352,391 slots in 98 testing centers, the ₱500 fee, the qualification rules, and the results target of May 11, 2027, are drawn from CSC Examination Announcements No. 05, 06 and 07, s. 2026 and CSC news releases. We work to keep them accurate, but announcements change and errors can slip in. Always confirm the final rule on the official CSC website or with your regional office before you act, travel, or pay.
No guarantees
Following this guide does not guarantee you a slot, a passed evaluation, or a passed exam. Slots are first-come, first-served and close when centers fill. Evaluations are decided by CSC staff on the documents you submit. Exam results depend on your rating, with 80.00 as the passing mark, and are released only by the CSC.
Fees
This guide is free to read. The only exam fee described here is the official ₱500 examination fee, paid in person at a CSC office during your personal appearance. We never collect that fee, and we never charge for help with an application. Do not pay any third party who claims to process your CSC application faster for money.
Trademarks and names
Civil Service Commission, CSC, OCSEAS, eServe and OCSERGS are names of the Philippine Civil Service Commission and its systems. They are used here only to describe the official process applicants must follow.
